Nestling among the heights of Sitio de Calahonda in Mijas Costa (Malaga), El Porton is a charming little resort offering a harmony of Mediterranean style with modern facilities. Strategically positioned, guests are within easy driving distance of the jet setting town or Marbella (15 kms), the historical and picturesque town of Ronda (70kms) and many other places of interest, all of which make the Costa del Sol and ideal vacation destination for both the sun/beach loving and hiker/adventure seeking holidaymaker. The stylish, provincially furnished apartments all have full kitchens and are well equipped and set within pleasant gardens overlooking a central swimming pool. Arriving guests gain access to a fully prepared unit with freshly made beds and laundered towels, soap, toilet rolls, bin liners, etc., and every apartment boasts a washing machine, microwave, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. In addition to the on-site swimming pool, guests also have full access to all the facilities at Club Marbella, where you check in. These facilities include: children's crèche/Miniclub (open during school holidays), children's games room; pool tables, video games, etc., children's playground, bowls/petanque ground, fitness centre, squash court, "Café Marbella" bar/restaurant with regular live entertainment, central swimming area (with both indoor and outdoor pools of varying depth), guest lounge area with library and board games, and a full summer activities and excursions programme. Depending on the size of your party, El Porton offers a choice of units, incorporating three bedroom, two bedroom and one bedroom apartments. The three bedroom apartment has a double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in each of the other two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge. The main bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom and there is also a second full bathroom. The two bedroom apartment has a double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. The main bedroom has a complete en-suite bathroom and there is also a second bathroom. The one bedroom apartment has two single beds in the bedroom, a sofa bed in the lounge and a complete bathroom. High chairs can be provided upon arrival at no extra charge. Arriving guests gain access to a fully prepared unit with freshly made beds and laundered towels, soap, toilet rolls, bin liners, etc. If arriving late why not pre-order a welcome/food pack which includes milk, water, orange juice, sliced bread, biscuits, bacon, eggs, butter, coffee, tea bags and sugar. The cost is EUR 22 and can be requested by contacting the reservations department prior to arrival.
